If he falls to 150th overall in a two-catcher league, I will pounce. Last year he went 21/16/.231 as a rookie in 537 ABs and he will play every day as a DH, while catching enough games to keep his eligibility. He hit .231 with a 19.3% strikeout rate. Again, as a rookie! He is only 24, and I had to work very hard to not rank him above Contreras. His projections will even sound a bit better, but remember there’s more risk here. But more barely. Which is not how Souplantation stretches their soups, that’s more barley. |
